How it is worked out
Debt-to-income = monthly debt payments ÷ monthly income.
The bands are a convention, read against the income you record and before any tax adjustment. The dashboard card averages the last three complete months.
Worked example
Payments of 800 a month against an income of 3,200 are 800 ÷ 3,200 = 25% (Moderate), at the top of its band.
